Sited at the base of Ruud Mountain, the Sun Valley House is a contemporary interpretation of the rugged landscape. The dwelling is comprised of two angular forms resembling the surrounding peaks. Clad in a mixture of granite, small-rubble stone, and zinc, the gray palette blends the exterior into the mountainous backdrop. The angular volumes divide the interior into separate wings — a private and public. Internally, exposed material mix with modern finishes while expansive glazing showcases the impressive landscape.
